Briers are among what shall come up where land is not “pruned nor digged”. In that place, “there shall come up briers and thorns,” and the clouds shall “rain no rain upon it” (2 Nephi 15:6).
Every place where there were “a thousand vines at a thousand silverlings” shall be “for briers and thorns” (2 Nephi 17:23). Men shall come “with arrows and with bows” because “all the land shall become briers and thorns” (2 Nephi 17:24).
Wickedness “shall devour the briers and thorns,” and it shall kindle in the thickets of the forests (2 Nephi 19:18). The Holy One of Israel shall “burn and shall devour his thorns and his briers in one day” (2 Nephi 20:17).
