Kneeling in prayer is kneeling before God while offering prayer. Enos “kneeled down before my Maker” as his soul hungered, and he “cried unto him in mighty prayer and supplication for mine own soul”. Enos cried all day long and continued to raise his voice high when night came (Enos 1:4).
The twelve taught the multitude and caused them to “kneel down upon the face of the earth”. The multitude was to “pray unto the Father in the name of Jesus” while kneeling upon the earth (3 Nephi 19:6).
They “did kneel down with the church, and pray to the Father in the name of Christ” (Moroni 4:2). Jesus commanded the multitude and his disciples to “kneel down again upon the earth” (3 Nephi 19:16).
