Limhi’s Escape Tents are the tents taken by the people of king Limhi when they left bondage. They could find no way to deliver themselves except to take “their women and children, and their flocks, and their herds, and their tents, and depart into the wilderness” (Mosiah 22:2).
The people of king Limhi “did depart by night into the wilderness” with their flocks and herds, going round about the land of Shilom and toward Zarahemla under Ammon and his brethren. They carried gold, silver, precious things, and provisions, and after many days arrived in Zarahemla and joined Mosiah’s people (Mosiah 22:11–13).
