Moroni’s Fortification Pickets are a frame of pickets that Captain Moroni caused to be built upon timber works around Nephite cities. The timber works stood on ridges of earth and rose “to the height of a man” round about the cities (Alma 50:2).
Moroni caused the picket frames to be built upon the timbers, and “they were strong and high” (Alma 50:3). He also caused towers to be erected overlooking the picket works, with places of security where Lamanite stones and arrows could not hurt those within (Alma 50:4).
