Rock Before Lehi is the rock before Lehi upon which “there came a pillar of fire and dwelt.” Lehi prayed unto the Lord when the pillar of fire came upon the rock before him (1 Nephi 1:6).
Lehi saw and heard much as the pillar of fire dwelt upon the rock before him. Because of the things he saw and heard, Lehi “did quake and tremble exceedingly” (1 Nephi 1:6).
