Seantum’s Cloak Hem is the lower edge of the cloak used as evidence in the inquiry into Seezoram’s death. Nephi directed officials, “Go to the house of Seantum, who is the brother of Seezoram” (Helaman 9:26).
The officials were to examine Seantum after he denied the murder. Nephi said, “ye shall find blood upon the skirts of his cloak,” and Seantum would then tremble, turn pale, and confess (Helaman 9:31).
