All things common is the condition in which people “had all things common among them.” Those who were taught and ministered “one to another” dealt “justly, one with another” (3 Nephi 26:19).
People who had “all things common among them” had no “rich and poor, bond and free,” and were “all made free, and partakers of the heavenly gift” (4 Nephi 1:3). From a later time, they “did have their goods and their substance no more common among them” (4 Nephi 1:25).
